Our condo association restricts us to just a few rentals per year, so we aim for longer stays. The short-term Mass. Lodging Tax of 14.45% is waived on rentals of ≥32 days. When you rent from us for four weeks, we throw in 4 extra days for free, so you hit that 32-day mark.

We skip the costly vacation rental platforms. Our dedicated Cape Cod booking website (WeNeedaVacation.com) is easy to navigate and has no booking fees! On Airbnb and VRBO these fees are hidden from the renter (you); i.e. the fees are built into the daily price so you’d never know they are there, and they are huge –> 15% on Airbnb and 8% on VRBO of the total rental cost. Also, we have no “resort fees” or gimmicks, just the actual cleaning fee we get charged which we pass on to you.

So with our 31-day rentals, renting at TW saves you between 22 and 29 percent of the total cost in fees + 14% in taxes vs. VRBO and Airbnb. Staying with us for a month will cost less than two weeks anywhere else in NS with beach access with or without views and/or beach access! Consider that our TW one-bedroom condo with 1175 sf and an additional 340 sf of covered deck space runs $280 per night (total cost as there are no taxes) on average in the high season. The least expensive, and tiny, unit (incl. tax) of all 45 Maushop rent in the high-season for $385/night. For a peek-a-boo view, the cheapest is $485/night. TW is 50 feet from high tide, twice as big and private.
