The Popponesset Marketplace
New Seabury has a vibrant family-friendly collection of over 20 stores, shops and restaurants called the Marketplace. Nearby is the Popponesset Inn – the one restaurant owned by the Club at New Seabury which is open to the public and overlooks the ocean. Its a very short walk from the Marketplace and is nextdoor to the Cabana Club.

Fun Fact: The shops are all on a pathway, which is covered for shade and protected from
rain. It’s a great place to spend a rainy day wandering. Just a couple hundred feet away is the Popponesset Inn, a casual restaurant and separate bar with ocean views.
There are events scheduled and live music evenings on Sunday – Thursday from 6:30 to 9:00 and on Saturday 7:00 – 9:30 between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
There is a pizza-by-the-slice shack, coffee bar, ice cream shop, Emma’s Sugar Shack, a smoothie bar, and two nice restaurants that serve alcohol. Probably the best known is the Raw Bar, famous for having the Best Lobster Roll on Cape Cod shown to the right.
There is a vintage antique shop, kids’ craft/toy store, an arcade for the teenagers and a full salon. Several boutiques offer summer clothing. There’s even a Methodist Church offering Sunday services to all.
